With the evolution of technology, we are entering an era where everything seems to be possible. Meanwhile, we are still waiting to perceive major innovations in the smartphone industry past few years. The wireless charging technology, which is still using cables, is not that effective as far as practicality is concerned. Recently, Xiaomi had come up with the Mi Air Charge, which can charge multiple devices simultaneously using the true wireless method.

Now, another Chinese company Huawei files a patent for the true wireless charging solution. A new patent from Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd entitled “Transmitter, Receiver, and System for Long-distance Wireless Charging” has been listed with publication number CN112689938A. That application was filed to China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) on April 29, 2020, with the actual listing date of April 20, 2021.

According to the patent description:
“This application discloses a transmitter for long-distance wireless charging, where the receiver is used to charge wirelessly. The transmitter includes a transmitter processor, baseband radio frequency conversion unit, and transmitter antenna. The transmitter processor is used to generate a composite signal based on the control signal to send it to the baseband radio frequency conversion unit. The control signal is used to control the working state of the receiver end, and the power signal is used to charge the receiver end.”
Overall, Huawei’s wireless charging technology tends to use a special antenna technology, slightly different from Xiaomi’s solution. but it should be able to achieve a more flexible charging outcome. In the current scenario, this is just a patent filing, which can’t give any guaranty of the final product. What are your thoughts? Do let’s know in the below comment section!
